Simple Present Tense

  • Note

  • In simple present tense  "s,es" should be added at the end of the verb.

  • If the subject is a third-person singular and the verb ends with "s, sh, ch, x, o, z," then the suffix (es) should be added.

  • Add another "s" suffix.

A.S. = S+V1+O

  • I play kho-kho.

  • Ram jumps in the river.

  • Ram drinks milk every morning.

  • He reads a novel.

  • Seeta knocks on a door.

N.S. = S+do/does+not+V1+O

  • I do not play kho-kho.

  • Ram does not jump in the river.

  • Ram does not drink milk every morning.

  • He does not read a novel.

  • Seeta does not knock on a door.

I.S. = Does/Do+S+V1+O+?

  • Do I play kho-kho?

  • Does Ram jump in the river?

  • Does Ram drink milk every morning?

  • Does He read a novel?

A.S = S+am/is/are+V1+ing+O

  • Birds are flying in the sky.

  • Ram is playing cricket.

Present Continuous Tense

N.S = S+am/is/are+not+V1+ing+O

  • Birds are not flying in the sky.

  • Ram is not playing cricket.

  • seeta is not writing a blog.

  • he is not disputing with her.

  • Rohan is not paying fees.

I.S = am/is/are+S+V1+ing+O ?

  •  Are birds flying in the sky?

  •  Is ram playing cricket?

A.S = S+Has/have+V3+O

  • I have completed my homework.

Present perfect Tense

  • I have not completed my homework.

  • I have not learned this poem.

  • He has not watched that movie.

  • She has not  met him.

  • I have been writing an article.
